The Toronto Community Champion Award
Anglophone institutions celebrate the impact of a Francophone organization in Ontario
La Passerelle-I.D.É. was honored on May 16, 2024 among the 25 recipient organizations of the Toronto Community Champion Awards 2024 by City of Toronto in the presence of several dignitaries including the Mayor of Toronto Ms. Olivia Chow, municipal councilors, the President & CEO of United Way Greater Toronto, Mr. Daniele Zanotti, and several leaders of English-speaking organizations.
Prestigious recognition from English-speaking institutions of the exceptional work of La Passerelle-IDÉ. as a Francophone organization dedicated at the forefront to meeting the needs of Black and racialized Francophone clients, through culturally adapted initiatives and advocacy on the issues of anti-racism, social justice, housing, employability, refugees and inclusion in Ontario.
